LANDSCAPE

These new  paintings veer from the descriptive towards the abstract. In a world of increasing noise and obstacles, my paintings are becoming more subtle and quiet. Still dynamic with soft colors and markings, they give pause to take a breath, meditate and reflect. I’m using oil paint, oil sticks and cold wax to achieve a depth, then scraping through until I reach the sublime mix of color and stillness.
